Honningsvåg Airport, Valan (Norwegian: Honningsvåg lufthavn, Valan) (IATA: HVG, ICAO: ENHV) is located at Valan, 4.5 km (2.4 NM) north of the city centre of Honningsvåg, in Nordkapp (North Cape) municipality in Finnmark, Norway. It is owned and operated by Avinor AS.
The airport serves Honningsvåg, Nordvågen, Kamøyvær, Gjesvær, and Skarsvåg. It is also the nearest airport to North Cape, located 35 kilometres (22 mi) away. The airport is connected to Honningsvåg by European route E69. It opened in 1977 and it served 14,212 passengers in 2009.[2]
Scheduled services are operated by SAS Group airline Widerøe which operate Dash 8 aircraft as part of the regional network in Northern Norway on public service obligation contract with the Government of Norway. Widerøe connect their flights to Scandinavian Airlines.

The airport resides at an elevation of 42 feet (13 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 08/26 with an asphalt surface measuring 880 by 30 metres (2,887 × 98 ft).[1]

On October 29, 1990 a Twin Otter airplane operated by the Royal Norwegian Air Force crashed at Honningsvåg due to turbulence and three people were killed.[4]
